Boredom is in the eye of the beholder
Boring, yes, but also interesting. Very much a product of its time. Which makes it cool.
Ramblers were popular here in Australia during the 1960s, I believe more so than a lot of the more iconic U.S. marques. I believe the ones sold here were locally assembled.

Unusual car ad
This ad for the Rambler American is rather unusual...and unusually boring...but the Rambler American was a pretty good little car; small, inexpensive, utilitarian...nothing fancy... A friend's lasted a long time with little service and few problems, that is until a hole rusted through on the floor of the driver's side.
Interesting, driving a car along and being able to see the road going by...through a hole in the floor...
A fascinating, if odd and lengthy, commercial. Perhaps more a sales promo for use by dealers? Four stars for its uniqueness, but subtract one for it being boring, which gives a three star rating. (By the way, I believe the short, heavy bald man is actor J. Edward McKinley.)
